Step 1 - Generation Properties
Right-click a folder in the Project view and choose New → Generate from Template → your template. The wizard opens on step 1, titled CodeBaker: Generation Properties. Here you fill in the values the template needs.
Step 2 - Pre-Generation
Clicking Next >> on step 1 opens CodeBaker: Pre-Generation. CodeBaker resolves your values, works out which files the template will produce and compares them with what is already on disk. Nothing is written to your project in this step.
Step 3 - Code Preview
CodeBaker: Code Preview shows every file the template will write, still without touching your project. You can read each file, compare it with the version on disk and fix the generated text by hand.
Step 4 - Code Generation
Clicking Finish on step 3 (and Continue, if you were asked to confirm overwriting) opens CodeBaker: Code Generation. This is the only step that changes your project.
